SLIME! Oh carefree days of Nickelodeon binge watching, how I miss you! Those were the days when staying sane was effortless. ~insert long, drawn-out sigh here~
My kids and I are stuck indoors for the chilly season here in Omaha and things can get a little bit sticky when we are in each other’s hair day in and day out. Slime is the perfect distraction! For a little while anyway!
Let’s save some momma sanity and dive right in.
Here is a super simple list of ingredients:
1 tsp. borax
2 c. warm water
1/2 c. glue
1/2 c. shaving cream
Have your ingredients together? Awesome! First, just mix your borax and warm water and set aside, you won’t need the full amount!! In another container combine your glue and shaving cream, add the borax solution slowly (only about 1 tsp) at a time. When it starts to pull away from the bowl, you’ve got it! Knead it for a bit with your hands until it’s soft, stretchy, foamy and ready to play with!
